$40.00A unique expression of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, made up of 90% Sauvignon Blanc from a mature site in the Central Wairau Valley region of Marlborough and 10% old vine Semillon from the Southern Valleys, both largely planted on free draining stony gravels.
The hallmark of the wine is a savoury texture; thanks largely to aging on lees in French oak and a concrete egg, and also the inclusion of the wonderfully structured old vine Semillon. The palate is vibrant and defined, yet complex and structured.
